About us

Healthcare without borders, since 2015.

Expert Chikitsa is a unit of International Medical Consultancy, headquartered in Bengaluru, India. We plan, coordinate and follow through on cross-border care for patients who need a specialist they cannot reach at home.

Expert Chikitsa was founded in 2015 by IIM Bangalore alumni with one goal: to make quality Indian healthcare reachable, affordable and genuinely well-guided for patients across the world. What began as a small referral desk has grown into India's largest medical tourism company.

We are ranked #1 by multiple agencies in international medical tourism and have been awarded by prestigious hospitals in India and in foreign countries for the quality and consistency of our referrals and clinical partnerships. That recognition matters to us because it is earned case by case — a plan that holds, a surgery that goes well, a family that comes home.

Today our offices span multiple cities in India and seven countries abroad, with colleagues working from different cities and time zones, so a patient in Accra or Kinshasa speaks to someone local — and a hospital in India deals with a coordinator who is already on the ground.

Recognition

Ranked #1 by multiple agencies in international medical tourism.

Our standing comes from independent healthcare surveys and rating agencies, and from the hospitals that award and renew our partnerships — in India and abroad.

What we do

Four business lines, one accountable team.

Every service we run exists to close the distance between a patient and the specialist they need — whether that distance is a border, a border camp, or a diagnostic report.

01

International Medical Tourism

One coordinated journey, from the first medical opinion to your safe return home.

  • Case evaluation and a written treatment plan with clear cost estimates before you travel.
  • Hospital selection from our tie-ups with leading Indian hospitals across specialties.
  • Medical visas, travel and ground transfers, accommodation and interpreter support.
  • A dedicated care coordinator who stays with your case through treatment and recovery.
02

Surgical Camps

Specialist doctors and full surgical teams travel abroad for scheduled camps.

  • 2–3 specialised surgical camps every month in our partner regions.
  • Complete teams — surgeons, anaesthesiologists, nursing and perioperative staff.
  • Local partner hospitals, screening, scheduling and follow-up coordinated by our offices.
  • Cases selected and prepared in advance so camp days run safely and efficiently.
03

Teleradiology

Round-the-clock remote diagnostic reporting and trusted second opinions.

  • Imaging reported 24/7, with priority turnaround for urgent cases.
  • Reporting for international clinics, hospitals and diagnostic centres.
  • Specialist second opinions across modalities and clinical disciplines.
  • Secure transmission, standardised reporting formats and audit-ready documentation.
04

Online Hospital & Video Consultation

A virtual OPD that connects international patients with top Indian specialists.

  • Scheduled video consultations with specialists across major disciplines.
  • Records, imaging and reports reviewed before the consultation.
  • Written opinions, prescriptions and next-step plans after every consult.
  • Continuity of care with scheduled reviews and local follow-up support.

How we work

The patient journey, step by step.

Six stages, one coordinator. Nothing is handed off to an anonymous queue between the first message and the follow-up after you are home.

  1. 01

    First contact

You send records or request a callback. Our clinical desk reviews the case and responds with an honest view of what India can offer.

  2. 02

    Second opinion & plan

Specialists review the file and a written treatment plan is prepared — procedure, sequence, expected stay and indicative costs.

  3. 03

    Hospitals & invitation letter

We shortlist hospitals, confirm the surgeon and dates, and arrange the hospital invitation letter and medical visa documentation.

  4. 04

    Travel & arrival

Flights, transfers, accommodation and a local coordinator. Someone from our team is available from the moment you land.

  5. 05

    Treatment & updates

Daily coordination with the hospital, family updates in your language, and help with documentation and clearances.

  6. 06

    Recovery & follow-up

Discharge planning, medications, physiotherapy guidance and video reviews after you return home.

Where we work

Offices across India, on the ground in seven countries.

We are deliberately present where care is planned and where it is delivered — with local staff, not call-centre handovers.

Head office — Bengaluru

Our Bengaluru head office runs clinical coordination, hospital relations, teleradiology operations and international partnerships.

Offices in multiple Indian cities

We maintain offices in multiple cities across India, so hospital liaison, patient onboarding and documentation are handled close to where care happens.

A team spread across cities

Colleagues work from different cities — coordinators, clinical associates, radiology reporting teams, finance and partner relations — operating as one desk for the patient.

International offices

Seven offices, seven cities

Each office runs its own patient coordination, screening and camp support with local staff — so a referral never has to be explained twice.

Impact & scale

A rhythm of camps, consultations and reports.

Our scale is not a campaign — it is a monthly operating rhythm of OPD camps, surgical camps, remote reporting and video consultations, running year after year.

Our values

What we will not compromise on.

Patient safety first

Every plan is reviewed for clinical suitability. We say no when a treatment is not in the patient's interest.

Transparency in costs

Written estimates, itemised hospital billing and no hidden coordination charges at any stage.

Respect for every culture

Local-language assistance, dietary and religious needs, and coordinators who understand the region.

Clear communication

One accountable coordinator, documented updates, and family kept informed in their own language.

Who we serve

For the partners who build with us.

Beyond patients, Expert Chikitsa works with investors and with the people who want to join a mission-driven, cross-border healthcare team.

For investors

A cross-border healthcare model built to scale

Expert Chikitsa combines a large Indian clinical supply — ranked #1 medical tourism positioning, hospital tie-ups and awarded partnerships — with owned distribution in seven countries and a recurring camp and teleradiology engine. The result is a model where capacity, referral demand and service margins are all under one operating roof.

  • Growth driven by repeat referrals, hospital partnerships and regional office demand.
  • Asset-light expansion: surgical camps and teleradiology scale without new buildings.
  • Established presence in emerging markets with rising demand for specialist care.
